The Commissioner for Education in Lagos State, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo has confirmed a receipt of the post-mortem report on the cause of Whitney Adeniran’s death.
The commissioner further reiterated the commitments of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in leaving no stone unturned in ensuring appropriate interrogation of the cause and prosecution of anyone found guilty of Whitney’s death.
Adefisayo, however, assured Whitney’s parents that justice would be served over the girl’s death while assuring them that the Ministry of Education shares in their grief and will be with the family in ensuring justice.
She made this known, during a condolence visit to Whitney’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adeniran at their residence in Lagos.
With the Commissioner during the visit were: Mr. Abayomi Abolaji, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, Director General of the Office of Education Quality Assurance, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, Executive Secretary, of Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency and some Directors of the Ministry.
