Sulaimon Adekunle, better known as KS1 Malaika, a popular Nigerian Fuji musician, was on Wednesday night involved in an accident at Awoyaya Bus Stop along the Lekki- Epe expressway in Lagos.
Malaika, who on February 15 celebrated his 48th birthday, was rescued by other motorists and passersby.
According to reports, Yemi Oladehinde, Malaika’s manager confirmed this on Thursday to newsmen.
According to Mr Oladehinde, the musician “was on his way home when a motorcyclist without headlamp who was coming from the Epe outbound lane try to turn back towards the Epe inbound lane.
“It was while trying to avoid hitting and killing him (motorcyclist) that he (Malaika) swerved and his SUV, a Lexus 470 summersaulted about three times before stopping.”

“Luckily he and the two other occupants of the SUV did not suffer any injury,” his manager concluded.
